
The reason of it has become not so much activization of Kiev real estate managers-swindlers, as the negligent attitude to search of experts in real estate from tenants of accommodation.
Happened situation is caused not by that the number of swindlers in the market has increased or they became more active, but it is faster that tenants don't give enough attention to searching of diligent real estate experts.
For example: last week in our company's department of rent the married couple has addressed. But then, having referred to promptness of the business, has refused our services and has addressed to other agency. In some days we have known that this pair managed to rent apartment. People have paid services of that company, for the first month of the rent, but, already having moved on a new residence, have found out that the apartment has been rented by "experts" of real estate agencies only for one day.
Not to get on a hook of the swindlers, the expert considers, while searching Kiev apartments people who intend to rent accommodation, should pay attention to the next moments.
First, the declared cost of apartment rent should corresponds to the market levels. After all it is frequently "black real estate managers" especially underestimate the price to draw attention of trustful tenants.
Secondly, the tenant should demand from the owner not a copy, but the originals of the documents on the apartment.
As our personal experiment of managing of real estate, unfortunately, tenants basically don't ask a similar question. Any of our clients has never demanded to show it proofs of the property right for rented apartment
